Nestled in the heart of Whidbey Island, Freeland Hall offers a picturesque location for your wedding ceremony and reception. Our venue boasts stunning views of Holmes Harbor, lush gardens, and expansive lawns on nearly 3 acres of private waterfront property.

    Main Hall: Seats up to 244 guests for receptions, with four restrooms and a private dressing room and restroom in the Bridal Suite below.

    Main Floor: A spacious 2,400 sq ft area with a 340 sq ft stage—ideal for dinners, dancing, live music, or indoor ceremonies.

    Bridal Suite: An elegant 800 sq ft suite with three entrances, private bathroom, propane fireplace, kitchenette, and French doors opening to the terrace and wedding arch, perfect for preparations and photos.

    Wi-Fi: Complimentary “Big Gig” fiber-optic internet keeps your event connected and running smoothly.

  • Wedding Rates

    • Weddings and celebrations are not available at half-day or hourly rates.

    • Discounts may be available for weekday or multi-day rentals upon request.

    Make the most of our 480 sq ft industrial kitchen, perfect for caterers or DIY meal prep.

    Features include:

    • Cooking Appliances: Two gas ovens and eight stovetop burners

    • Microwave: Large capacity for quick reheating

    • Dish Station: Industrial washer, sanitizer, and three-compartment sink with hall access door

    • Refrigeration: Brand-new industrial refrigerator and mini ice freezer

    • Dining Essentials: White plates, flatware, and stemware for up to 175 guests

    • Beverage Service: Coffee makers, tea pots, water service, and 175 coffee mugs with creamers

    • Serving Equipment: A full selection of platters and utensils for seamless service

Freeland Hall offers a peaceful, scenic setting on Whidbey Island for memorials and funerals, providing comfort and space for remembrance. Commercial size kitchen and amenities *additional fee, audio-visual equipment, and a family room downstairs, it’s well-suited for meaningful gatherings of all kinds.

Public Events at Freeland Hall

Host your festival, concert, or fundraiser at Freeland Hall—our versatile venue offers flexible layouts, professional amenities, and plenty of space for any event. With a welcoming atmosphere and support from our dedicated team, we’ll help bring your vision to life and create a memorable experience for all. Subleasing on the rental property is not permitted.

Weekend

  • Host your sales event on the weekend for maximum exposure. Hourly rates not available on weekend.

Weekday Hourly

  • Host your event upstairs in the hall without the kitchen.

Business Meetings in Community Room

The downstairs conference room at Freeland Hall seats up to 30 featuring a cozy fireplace, kitchenette and coffee center with its own private restroom. With park access and scenic views, it’s perfect for small meetings or private gatherings of under 30 people.

Non-catered services, non-event, private meeting only.

Community Room Rental

$30 per Hour (3 hour minimum )

  • The conference room can be rented any day of the week from 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Pending availability.

Non-Profit Rental of Community Room

$25 per Hour (3 hour minimum)

  • Our downstairs community room is the perfect place for your non-profit (501c3) board meetings.
